  Berger Paints Posts 38% Rise in Q3 Profit

  Berger Paints on Thursday reported a 37.80 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 101.11 crore for the fiscal third quarter ended December 2015.

  However, Berger Paints' consolidated net sales during the quarter under review increased 8.15 per cent to Rs 1,108.39 crore from Rs 1,024.79 in the same period of the previous fiscal.

  The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 76.8 crore for the same period of the last fiscal, Berger Paints said in a statement.

  Asian Paints on Monday reported a 1.75 per cent drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 329.35 crore for the quarter ended December, 2013.

  Berger Paints today reported 44 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 65 crore for the quarter ended December.
