Five members of a family were killed when their van collided with a bus at Sampakkulam on the outskirts of Madurai.
Another member of the family was injured in the mishap, police said.
The family was going to a temple at Karyapetti on the occasion of Mahashivaratri from Dindigul when the mishap occurred, police said.
