Washington: Giant-killers Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi's terrific run at ATP Legg Mason Tennis Classic ended with a straight-set defeat against Mardy Fish and Mark Knowles.

The unseeded Indo-Pak pair lost their semifinal 5-7 5-7 in one hour and 36 minutes against the American-Bahamas combination.

Bopanna and Qureshi had stunned formidable Americans Mike and Bob Bryan in the quarter-finals.

Bopanna and Qureshi earned 180 ranking points each and split USD 17,000 as prize money.
