A 21 year-old-man was arrested in Madhavaram, Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu today for allegedly raping a minor girl after promising to marry her, police said.
Prasanth, working for an automobile dealer in Madhavaram, was the neighbour of the 15-year-old girl whom he allegedly raped multiple times after promising to marry her, police said.
Following a complaint lodged by the victim's father, Prasanth was arrested, police said.
