Chidambaram visits parents of murdered Youth Congress worker

Coimbatore: Union Home minister P Chidambaram visited the parents of a youth Congress worker, who was recently murdered at Singanallur area.

Mr Chidambaram, during a brief halt en route to Erode, met the parents of Karthikeyan, who was stabbed to death by a gang about 10 days ago near his house and consoled them.

Earlier, he attended a marriage in the family of a party worker at Ukkadam area in the city.

The minister declined to answer questions from reporters.
