Visakhapatnam:
A constable was shot dead by suspected Maoists in Paderu in the district this evening, police said.
According to the preliminary reports, the ultras fired at least two rounds at Appanna (45) when he was on duty near Paderu Junior College at around 5.30 pm. He died on the spot.
Senior police officials have rushed to the spot.
