New Delhi: Proving once again that he is Prime Minister Cool, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau took to social media to wish everyone on the festival of Vaisakhi. Beginning his speech 1 minute, 10 seconds long speech with the Sikh salutation of "Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh," Mr Trudeau goes on to explain why Vaisakhi marks the most important day of the Sikh faith. He further emphasises the message of inclusivity while ending his speech by saying that Sikh Canadians make Canada the strong, rich and inclusive country that it is today.
Since being shared online on Facebook 8 hours ago, the speech has already been viewed over 4 lakh times and an outpouring of positive reactions has come the Prime Minister's way. On Twitter, it has been liked over 1,000 times. "Thanks Justin Trudeau for celebrating everything multicultural. I really love these posts because I learn about celebrations I didn't know about before. Wishing our Sikh Canadians much joy," says one commenter.
