An ad film, currently doing the rounds of social media, explores the moments and emotions leading up to just before a young woman is to meet the parents of her partner for the first time. The twist - her partner is also female.
A clothing brand has made a commercial featuring a same-sex relationship and social media is loving it.
In their "bold is beautiful" campaign, two young women in an apartment prepare for visitors. Turns out, the visitors are one of the young women's family coming over to be introduced to her girlfriend. Discussions about earrings and coffee mask jitters.
"I want your mom to like me," says the significant other, asking her partner further if she was sure about this.
"I'm sure about us," replies her girlfriend, adding "I don't want to hide it anymore."
