Michelin-star chef Vikas Khanna is no stranger to kitchens. As he himself proudly states, he has spent 30 years in kitchens around the world, whipping up delicious food. Of all the kitchen pictures he has ever clicked, however, one that he shared very recently holds a special place in his portfolio. And rightly so - for it beautifully portrays a mother's love for her child.
About half an hour ago, Vikas Khanna took to Instagram to share a photograph that he brands "the most precious kitchen image" he has ever taken. Taken in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, it shows a mother cooking in the kitchen while her baby, carried in a baby sling on her back, smiles adorably for the camera.
"30 years in kitchens, but this is the most precious kitchen image I have taken," wrote the 47-year-old celebrity chef while sharing the picture, adding the hashtags #Mother and #Power.
Since being shared online, the heartwarming pic has collected over 4,000 'likes' and a ton of comments.
"That baby is so happy. God bless," wrote one person in the comments section. "Totally agree and grand salute to all mothers," said another. "Yes. We as mothers have this supernatural power, we cook and carry our babies simultaneously," a third said.
New York-based Vikas Khanna often shares pictures from his travels on Instagram, with a lot of them being related to food.
In February, he shared a picture from a rooftop in Rajasthan.
Before that, it was an image of a floating vegetable market in Kashmir that delighted his followers.
