Mumbai: The traffic woes in India's Maximum City continued with a massive portion of a road caving in in South Mumbai today.
The Mumbai civic body said a water pipeline burst caused the cave-in on the road which connects Girgaum Chowpatty with Marine Drive.
Since it was a Saturday, traffic wasn't much affected on the otherwise busy road.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC is already under fire for more than 22,000 potholes on Mumbai roads, which claimed at least three lives this monsoon.
