A fire broke out early Monday morning at the set of the popular television show 'Anupamaa' in Film City, Goregaon East, Mumbai. The fire originated in a tent behind the Marathi Bigg Boss set.

The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) responded swiftly and dispatched multiple firefighting units to the scene. The fire that originated around 6 am was declared Level-I, considered the lowest on the severity scale, and was brought under control by 10:15 am.

No injury was reported, said authorities.

"The fire was reported early Monday morning, and by 06:26 am, it had been officially declared a Level-I incident. Emergency services swiftly responded, dispatching four fire engines and 4 jumbo tankers to the scene," said a fire official.

In an official statement, authorities confirmed that the fire was confined to "electric wiring, electric installations, plastic materials, iron materials, decorative items, cameras, costumes, lighting systems, and other studio equipment."

The total affected area was estimated at 5,000 square feet, primarily impacting the Anupamaa studio zone. Additional damage was noted near the Film City Road.

The exact cause of the fire is under investigation. The production of the show has been temporarily halted, pending a full safety inspection.
