Social media creator and wellness coach Ranjana Pradhan is drawing widespread attention after a fashion and lifestyle video shared on Instagram went viral, challenging conventional ideas about age and appearance.

The 52-year-old mom posted a video on March 30 that has crossed one million views. The clip followed an "expectation vs reality" format. It opened with Pradhan wearing what she described as the kind of outfit people assume a 52-year-old woman should wear - a modest blue-and-white top paired with loose blue jeans.
As the music shifted, the video cut to her actual personal style: a stylish blue mini-dress teamed with knee-high brown boots. The transition highlighted confidence and ease, striking a chord with viewers across platforms.
Sharing her thoughts in the caption, Pradhan wrote, "My video just went viral on TikTok! So fun!! (It) was about turning a not so happy day into a TikTok story! And learning to live life, having fun, happily!"
Born in Sikkim and currently based in Cambodia, Pradhan credited her outlook to personal growth later in life. Speaking to HT Lifestyle, she said her sense of confidence developed after completing her master's degree in women's studies.
"I became who I am now after I finished my master's in women's studies and married my second husband, my biggest cheerleader. I got wings. What education and an enabling environment can do to a woman happened to me," she said.
Pradhan also said she views her age as a strength rather than a limitation. "I am not shy of my age - I am the happiest as a 52-year-old, sincerely, because I am confident, content, and happy in my life," she added.
Asked about her bold fashion choices, which often include short dresses, slits, and fitted silhouettes, she said comfort and personal freedom guide her decisions. "As long as I am comfortable, I do and wear and live the way I want... People ask why; I answer, 'Why not!'" added Pradhan.
