Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor never fail to grab attention whenever they are seen together. From working their magic on the big screen to setting style trends, they are an onscreen pair we are always happy to see together. The duo made headlines again for their dazzling appearance yesterday at 'The Walk of Mijwan' fashion show. The duo looked stunning as ever wearing designer Manish Malhotra's exquisitely crafted creations, and being the showstoppers for the event.
Designer Manish Malhotra's collection this time at the 2018 edition of the Mijwan Fashion Show was every bit glamorous. The collection showcased the quintessential Indian embroidery craftsmanship in Chikankari in various texture that celebrated traditional Indian design. Deepika Padukone's sparkling ivory lehenga with silver detailing instantly stole the show.
Deepika's sleeveless blouse with plunging neck was teamed with a floral patterned, flared lehenga with bead and sheer detailing, and ruffles at the hem. She wore no heavy makeup or accessories; only a pair of sparkly drop earrings (with emeralds and diamonds) was enough to accentuate her look along with the classic red lips.
While all eyes were on Deepika, Ranbir made a stylish statement too looking dapper in a fully embroidered black bandhgala over a classic white kurta-pyjama. The floral detailing in both the outfits were unmissable, and we loved how the duo carried Manish Malhotra's creations with such style.
Organized by Mijwan Welfare Society, in the presence of veteran actress Shabana Azmi, the fashion evening was graced by many celebrated personalities of the film industry. The annual fundraiser show in Mumbai was attended by Waheeda Rahman, Asha Parekh, Nandita Das, Javed Akhtar, Huma Qureshi, Nushrat Bharucha, Yami Gautam, Mouni Roy, Kirti Kharbanda, among many others.
