One can never go wrong with a saree. Plain or blingy, semi-stitched or the whole nine yards, pastel shades or bold hues, you can design a saree in any way and it will still turn out to be a classic. Proving this to us, one stunning photo at a time, is Mouni Roy. The actress, who is known for her tasteful wardrobe choices, had us all starstruck when she stepped out in a sequinned saree in a silver hue. Mouni pulled off the saree by Dolly J with grace and paired it with a sleeveless embellished blouse that complemented the garment. Sharing the pictures, Mouni Roy wrote, "A saree girl forever." For accessories, she chose to stick to the colour palette and went with silver strappy heels. Keeping away from any kind of jewellery except a few dainty silver rings, she left her hair open. For makeup, she went for a dewy look, with a flush of pink to the cheeks and lips.

Mouni Roy and sarees are a match made in heaven. We recently saw her in a red and black silk saree from Picchika. She paired the saree with traditional gold jewellery with a chunky necklace and matching earrings. This time too, she opted for a sleeveless blouse and left her hair open. Her makeup was dewy with a hint of coral on the lips.

Our favourite look has to be the one in this picture of the actress. In it, she is dressed in a Banarasi saree in green with a thin purple border. She paired the saree with traditional earrings in green and left her hair open. Her eyes were lined with kohl, lending an old-world charm to the look.

Before that, we also saw her in a beige and brown ombre saree, which featured sequins all along its length. For the blouse, she went with a sleeveless design with pearl and fringe detailing. With smokey eyes and a nude lip, the actress' look earned a lot of love on Instagram.

We also saw her in another shimmery number some time ago, this time in black. In this saree, the sequins were arranged as stripes, adding length to the garment. She went with no accessories, open tresses and nude makeup with smokey eyes to complete the look.

No matter what the occasion is, next time you wear a saree, we recommend you take a look at Mouni Roy's fashion diaries for inspiration.
