Jammu:
An army jawan allegedly raped a nine-year-old girl in a village in Jammu district's Arnia belt and is on the run.
The incident happened yesterday in Kalyana village, police said, adding that jawan Rakesh Kumar had been booked for raping a minor.
The jawan fled after allegedly criminally assaulting the girl in a field.
A hunt has been launched to nab him, the police said.
