Regular checks of pandals are being conducted by dog squads too, an official release said in Jharkhand.
Directions have been issued to different departments to remain alert, the release said adding police headquarters deployed an additional 2800 security personnel to keep a strict vigil on anti-social elements.
A total of 293 magistrates and 1600 police personnel are manning different areas in Ranchi. Anti-riots squad has also been alerted.
