However, sources in the Congress have told NDTV that the government is likely to accept her request for change.

Railways is not about politics. I will not kill the Railways for politics. I am very clear, my fundamentals are very clear, says Dinesh Trivedi.  I respect my leader, her sentiments but that doesn't mean we cannot differ, he says.

  • Where is the money for safety?  I don't want to compromise on safety.

  • Parliament is in session. Cannot make any comments which will relate to policy decision (on whether rollback is likely)

  • To be fair to Mamata Banerjee, she has never interfered with my work. And I respect her for that.
