The Delhi Income Tax (IT) team carried out raids at the offices of Gautam Singhania, owner of the Raymonds group in Mumbai and Delhi. The Mumbai team is assisting them here.
The raids are said to be in connection with his clothing line Raymond. Singhania is currently in Baroda and will return by 5pm. The IT department will be recording his statement.
The IT team suspects that bills were inflated by his company, which is a regular IT tax violation and is considered tax evasion.
