A gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama.
Security forces killed two terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district in a fierce encounter today.
One soldier also lost his life in the encounter and another was injured in the encounter.
The encounter started when security forces received a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in a house at Drabgam village.
As the troops laid a cordon and started search operation, they came under heavy firing. The army retaliated and in the encounter that followed the two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen were killed.
Police said there are reports about presence of three terrorists and the operation will be resumed tomorrow morning.
This is the second major encounter in south Kashmir's Pulwama, Shopian area in last three days. On Saturday two top Hizbul militants were killed during security operation in the area.
