The first poster of Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon's forthcoming movie
Bareilly Ki Barfi has been unveiled by the makers of the film today. The 26-year-old actress shared the vibrant poster on social media which shows her covering her face with a book, titled
Bareilly Ki Barfi. "I can't believe what I've just read!!#BareillyKiBarfi. Just can't wait for you to read it. Here's a glimpse," she wrote.
Bareilly Ki Barfi also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. The film has been directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who previously helmed
Nil Battey Sannata, starring Swara Bhaskar. Check out the first poster of

In an earlier interview with news agency IANS, Kriti Sanon spoke about her character in the film, describing it as 'tomboyish.'
"It's a very tomboyish character. She is a girl living in Bareilly but doing things on her own terms. She is someone who is quite bratty and who questions the basic norms. What I really like about the film is also the fact that every relationship is shown very nicely. Also, for me to play a UP girl was very fresh," IANS quoted Kriti as saying.
Bareilly Ki Barfi is a romantic-comedy, which is set in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on August 18.
Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon was last seen in
Dinesh Vijan's Raabta, co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput.
Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in
Meri Pyaari Bindu opposite Parineeti Chopra. After
Bareilly Ki Barfi, the 32-year-old actor will be seen in
Shubh Mangal Savdhan along with Bhumi Pednekar. His other upcoming film is Sameer Sharma's
Manmarziyan.
