New Delhi: On Sunday morning, the body of Jet Airways pilot Kunal Batra was found in his friend's pool. And even though the post-mortem report suggests that the death was due to drowning, his family suspects foul play.
"When I saw the body, blood was oozing out of his head and nose. His friend Sanjay Madan had some injuries on his body. I think there was some scuffle," Kunal's mother Neelam said.
The 22-year-old pilot was attending a party with his friend Sanjay Madan. At about 3.30 in the morning he was found dead. By that time, most guests had left.
The initial post-mortem report said the cause of death drowning. Doctors found alcohol in Batra's body, but no immediate leads of foul play. Now, the police are waiting for the final post-mortem report.
