Cold wave persists but no fog today
New Delhi: There is no respite from the cold in north India though there has been no fog or rain. Temperatures are one to three degree Celsius below normal.

Jammu and Kashmir remains coldest with maximum temperature at 3.6 degrees and the minimum temp at minus 4.2 degrees. The Jammu-Srinagar highway is closed for the fifth day.

In Delhi, it's a good day for travellers as there are no flight delays due to fog. The runway visibility is good.

According to Meteorological Department (IMD), Monday morning will be foggy in Delhi but the sky will remain clear in the day.

A slight rise in the temperatures is expected, with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover around 19 and 8 degrees respectively.

While the minimum temperature was recorded one notch below average at 6.8 degrees in the national capital on Sunday, the maximum temperature settled three notches below average at 18 degrees, said an IMD official.

The humidity wavered between a high and low of 91 and 47 per cent yesterday.
