Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti's Message On Independence Day: Highlights

Celebrating the 70th Independence Day across the state, Jammu and Kashmir chief minister addressed a gathering in Srinagar.

Here are the highlights of her speech:

• If we can't find our solution in the world's biggest democracy, we won't find it anywhere else.
• Violence is not a solution, guns can never get us justice.
• Kashmir is not that which fires the gun, takes to violence. Kashmir is paradise on earth.
• We hope that the effort which could not be completed during Atal Behari Vajpayee ji's time, would now be completed under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
