BJP-Shiv Sena manifesto released

Mumbai:  Ahead of the Maharashtra by-polls, the Shiv Sena-BJP combine released its manifesto on Monday with a lot of promises for Maharashtrians.

The manifesto says:

  •  80 per cent jobs will be reserved for skilled and unskilled locals
  • Wheat, rice, toor dal, edible oil, sugar will be sold at fixed rate
  • In 3 years, Maharashtra will get 24-hour uninterrupted power supply 
  • Aim to make Maharashtra slum free
  • Shivaji statue in Mumbai would be completed in 5 years
  • Farm loans and interest would be waived and fresh loans would be given at 4 per cent interest
  • A separate ministry to monitor the manifesto
