Bhagwant Mann was being probed for posting video footage of parliament on a social media site.
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Friday informed the house that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member Bhagwant Mann would not attend the proceedings of the house till December 9.
Ms Mahajan extended Mr Mann's quantum of punishment.
Mr Mann was being probed by a nine member Lok Sabha committee for posting video footage of parliament on a social media site.
