New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted the invitation for Karachi Literature Festival to be held in February next year.

"I will definitely come there to attend the event. We will learn from each other," said the Delhi chief minister.

Oraganiser of the festival, Ameena Sayeed said, "He (Arvind Kejriwal) is working towards creativity and upliftment and we hope to learn from him."

Earlier, actor Anupam Kher was allegedly denied a visa by Pakistan to attend the Karachi literature festival this year on February 5

However, Pakistani officials had claimed that the actor had not even applied for a visa.

"No visa application was submitted to us, this is what the reality is," Pakistan Envoy Abdul Basit had said.

The festival, founded by Ameena Saiyid, OBE, and Dr. Asif Farrukhi, is jointly organised by Oxford University Press, Pakistan and British Council.
