Mumbai:
Three people have been arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch for the murder of lawyer Shahid Azmi.
(Read: Lawyer for 26/11 accused shot dead)These three men are members of the Bharat Nepali gang. The arrested include the men who shot Azmi.
Shahid Azmi, the lawyer who defended 26/11 Indian accused Fahim Ansari, was shot dead in his office last Thursday.
He was the nephew of Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi, who had defended many suspected terrorists and had been threatened earlier by the underworld for defending them.
