Is Zadorin (doxycyline) safe to be consumed during pregnancy?

Doxycycline is, as you know, legally contraindicated for use during pregnancy but more particularly during the second and third trimester. However, it is safe during the first 18 weeks of pregnancy. Hence there is no cause for anxiety. The reason that it is contraindicated during the later stages of pregnancy is because during the period of mineralisation, it causes discolouration and accumulates in the skeleton.
