My wife is 6 months pregnant. She has taken TT Tetvac injection, advised by the doctor. Doctor told us that she should take another injection next month. Is TT Tetvac essentially required during pregnancy?

An injection of Tetanus Toxoid is recommended during mid-pregnancy (after 5 months) followed by another dose 30 days later. Please make sure that a quality product such as the one manufactured by Serum Institute of India is used.
