Does glutathione treat Parkinsonism?

Glutathione is not an approved medicine by any drug regulatory authority such as US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA). It is being promoted to the lay public via lay press as a "dietary supplement" for a variety of unconnected disorders. It has not undergone clinical trials to determine its safety and efficacy.
