Does a pregnant woman need to take any precautions if someone in the family has chicken pox?

I am 34 weeks pregnant. I had chickenpox 20 years ago but I had only a few boils and my parents are not sure whether it was chickenpox. Now my brother who stays with me has chickenpox. Am I at risk now? Do I need to take any precautions? This is my second pregnancy, my first pregnancy was terminated in the 25th week due to hernia and shortened right arm of the fetus.

Chicken pox generally has life long immunity and there is no fear of re-infection. However, at this stage even if you contact the infection your baby will suffer no harm in terms of abnormality so I think you can take the fear off your mind and look after your brother.
