Can one have sex safely after salpingectomy?

I am 28 years old and recently had an ectopic pregnancy, which resulted in a salpingectomy. It’s only been about a week and a half since I was released from the hospital. But due to the depression that came along with it, my husband and I ended up drinking last night, which led to sex. Could he have hurt me? Would an incident like this cause major problems?
