Are pinhole glasses helpful in any way?

Pinhole glasses are not really useful for the most part, and certainly not for cataracts. They are also hardly useful for persons needing reading glasses as they do not command a good field of vision. They are mostly useful for those with high powers, distortions in the vision and lots of irregularities in the power.
