Gurgaon:
A 35-year-old woman was allegedly raped by the driver and conductor of a private bus after she was confined to the vehicle, the police said on Friday.
The woman had boarded the passenger bus from Bilaspur Chowk at NH-8 for Gurgaon on Thursday afternoon, they said.
While all other passengers deboarded at IFFCO Chowk, the conductor prevented her from alighting. The duo then took the bus to a secluded place where they allegedly raped her, they said.
The driver, Pradeep (28), was arrested on Friday in this connection while the conductor, Krishan, was absconding, the police said.
A medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape, the police said.
