Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh:
A local leader of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) was shot dead tonight allegedly by three unidentified men in Loni town of Ghaziabad district.
Amarpal Jatav, 40, was going to his house in an auto rickshaw after attending a party function. Three bike-borne men intercepted the vehicle and opened indiscriminate fire at Jatav.

Jatav was district secretary of BSP and lived with his family in Loni area.
The officer said that Jatav received around seven bullets in his body which led to his instant death.
"As per initial investigation, it appears that murder has been committed due to personal enmity. Amarpal's brother had recently been murdered. Amarpal was fighting legal case in this regard which might have led to his murder," he said.
