Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah condoled the death of popular musician Ilayaraja's wife, Jeeva.
"I am deeply shocked and grieved to hear about the sudden demise of your beloved wife,"he said in a message to Ilayaraja.
The Governor conveyed his "deepfelt condolences" to the music director and his bereaved family members.
Meanwhile, scores of stars from tinseltown, including Kamalhassan and also technicians paid their last respects to 60-year-old Jeeva, who died on Monday night (October 31) following a heart attack.
