Mumbai:
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has decidedto wield the megaphone again and team up with Salman Khan foran action packed masala entertainer.
Mr Ghai had stopped directing films to concentrate on hisfilm school Whistling Woods International. But now he willsoon be getting behind the camera.
He has two films at hand one with Salman Khan that willroll out next year.
"I am returning to direction. I have two films... onewith Salman that I will start next year and other I will startshooting this year," Mr Ghai told PTI.
Earlier, the duo came together for Yuvvraj in 2008 butit was a box office failure. Ghai admits that he made amistake by making a romantic-musical film with Khan.
"After Wanted he has emerged as the new action hero.Audience likes to see him in this zone. It would be foolish onmy part to make romantic kind of films with him. We made amistake by casting him in Yuvvraj," Mr Ghai said.
"I have signed Salman for my film. Considering Salman'ssuperstar status and the love that he has got for doingaction films, I would be making an action-masala kind ofmovie. He is Superman Salman. We are working on the script,"he added.
The superstar, who is basking in the success of KabirKhan's Ek Tha Tiger, has his hands full withseveral projects like Dabangg 2, Sher Khan and Kick.
"He has other commitments. So once he is done with all ofthem. We will start working next year," Mr Ghai said.
Considering, Salman's health issues, Mr Ghai says technologywill help them in this. "Today technology had made thingsquite easy. So we will take help of this," he said.
Salman was suffering from trigeminal neuralgia, a nervedisorder causing intense pain in the face and had gone to theUS for a surgery in August last year. Soon after he startedshooting for Yash Raj Films' Ek Tha Tiger.
Talking about his other project, Mr Ghai says, "I haveanother film that I will be working on first. This film willhave fresh faces. We will start working this year and look forAugust release next year."
