star Prachi Desai has confirmed that she has not been offered to be a part of the ninth season of celebrity reality show
Bigg Boss.
There were reports that the 26-year-old actress had been roped in for the show, which will have a group of celebrities holed up in a house for three months with multiple cameras watching their every move.
"The news is completely untrue and baseless. I was never approached by
Bigg Boss and I am not a part of it," Prachi said in a statement.
The actress, who started off her career in showbiz with TV soap
Kasamh Se, was last seen in
Policegiri opposite Sanjay Dutt. She also appeared in a special song in
Ek Villain, for which she shed her girl next door image. Prachi will star next in
Rock On 2.
Other celebrities who have denied being a part of the show are Radhe Maa, Uday Chopra, Shweta Basu Prasad and Gaurav Gera. (Also Read:
