Poster Boys Box Office Collection Day 5: Sunny And Bobby Deol's Film Earns Over Rs 9 Crore

New Delhi: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade's Poster Boys, which released last Friday, has so far earned Rs 9.40 crore, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. The comedy drama showed 'good growth' over the weekend but the film's weekday earnings remain on the lower side. On Tuesday, Poster Boys collected Rs 1 crore while over the weekend it earned Rs 5 crore. Mr Adarsh previously described the film's box office collection as, "Poster Boys will have to maintain the trend on weekdays, or remain on Friday levels, to post a decent Week 1 total." Poster Boys is based on three men - Jagaavar Chaudhry (Sunny Deol), Vinay Sharma (Bobby Deol) and Arjun Singh (Shreyas) - and how their life changes after they accidentally feature on a vasectomy advert.

News agency IANS reviewed Poster Boys and gave the film 2.5 stars out of 5. "The performances of the entire cast are loud and over the top. Sunny and Bobby Deol have a rustic charm and they sink their teeth into their characters with natural ease. Bobby Deol's extra mile of histrionics to portray his quirky character seems a bit forced at times. The film is their journey, from being humiliated to inadvertently becoming ambassadors of the campaign," read the review.

Poster Boys is a remake of Marathi film Poshter Boyz, which released in 2014 and was produced by Shreyas Talpade. This film is directed by Shreyas and marks his directorial debut.

Poster Boys released along with Arjun Rampal's Daddy, a biopic on gangster Arun Gawli.
