Mel B was apprehensive about meeting the famed diva but was absolutely floored by the warmth of Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony, reported Contactmusic.
"I was staying in the Beverly Hills Hotel recently and Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Marc Anthony came over to say hello. I played it cool, but inside I was like, 'Oh my God!'," said Brown.
The 35-year old singer, nicknamed Scary Spice, and her spouse Stephen Belafonte were swept away by Anthony too.
"And Marc is so nice. We spent the whole night chatting to him at Alicia Keys' party," she said.
Belafonte too was all praise for the Latin singer.
"He was hanging out with us and he's got such a great sense of humour. He's really funny," he said.
