Kareena Kapoor had a light-hearted response when a paparazzo apologised to her over the viral gym video that led to pregnancy rumours. The actor was spotted in Mumbai on August 22, a day after the video of her gym exit started doing the rounds online.
As Kareena posed for the paparazzi, one of them appeared to apologise for the video. The actor smiled and joked, “Pagal kar dete ho tumlog (You guys drive us mad),” before getting into her car.
The video in question showed Kareena leaving a gym on August 21. She was seen walking under an umbrella as her bodyguard tried to shield her from the cameras. A visible change in the shape of her stomach in the clip led to speculation that she could be expecting her third child with Saif Ali Khan.
Kareena Kapoor's sister-in-law, Saba Pataudi, had also addressed the rumours earlier. Reacting to the speculation, Saba wrote, “A bad angle ... Or a bad hair day! How can everyone assume another extreme!! She walked out of an airport looking slick, classy and slim, and today out of a gym! That's it!! I've been convincing my sister to have a 2nd child ... wish that was true! She'll kill me for saying it! Live n let live guys. Some things are left private. No speculation needed. With love n respect.”
Kareena and Saif got married in October 2012. The couple are parents to sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.
On the work front, Kareena is gearing up for Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar. Prithviraj Sukumaran also stars in the film. Inspired by true events, the investigative drama deals with crime, justice and public opinion. It is set to release in theatres on September 18.
