New Delhi:

They say never let the child in you die. At some point in our lives, we all take a moment to recall those carefree days. And, it seems today is that day for Shruti Haasan. She has penned a “randomly philosophical Wednesday” note on Instagram. And, it comes with an oh-so-adorable picture from her school days. A little Shruti in white school uniform. Seems like it is from her sports day. Let's focus on Shruti's note, please. It begins with a question, “How does one never forget the child and also leave the past behind?”

Talking about childhood memories, Shruti Haasan added, “Our most defining moments the ones that shape us forever happen in childhood and carry us through and sometimes those memories we can't let go off? They become the burned to carry…That bully on the playground or were you the bully?”

Asking her online family about the senior who wasn't kind, she said, “Do you remember the adult who wasn't as nice or that one other kid who had the same unspoken truth as you?”

Shruti Haasan's long note also spoke about friends and teachers. “Do you remember the friend you always wanted to sit next to and the teacher who taught you more than just the subject on paper?”

Thanking the child inside her, Shruti Haasan concluded, “The child in us always has more heart and wisdom than we pretend to have as grown-ups. I am going back to my roots to Thank the child inside of me and to set her free…She always knew best it seems.”

Fans have given a thumbs up to Shruti Haasan's “woke up thinking”.

Shruti Haasan always tries to keep it real on social media. Last week, she made it to the headlines for the love-filled birthday wish the actress wrote for her boyfriend Santanu Hazarika. Along with the set of pictures from their couple diaries, Shruti wrote, “ Happy birthday my heart, Santanu Hazarika. This world is blessed to encounter your gorgeous energy and I am so thankful every day to know you. I wish you the happiest birthday, my Angel. Thank you for being you and can't wait to see all that you do.”

Shruti Haasan will be next seen in Salaar.
