The most popular stars of Pakistan are coming together for the Netflix original Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, reported Variety. Pakistani heartthrobs Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Sanam Saeed will headline Netflix's first Pakistan-themed original. Along with them, Ahad Raza Mir, who featured in Netflix series Resident Evil, is a part of the lead cast. The series is an official adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq's bestselling 2013 Urdu-language novel of the same name. The story revolves around Sikandar, a Harvard law student, who keeps himself aloof after an incident takes a toll on his life. Sikandar meets Liza, an artist with troubled past, in Italy.
The show will see a bunch of Pakistani stars apart from the lead cast. They are Hamza Ali Abbasi, who plays the main antagonist in The Legend of Maula Jatt; Bilal Ashraf (Superstar), Maya Ali (Parey Hut Love), Iqra Aziz (Raqeeb Se), Hania Aamir (Parde Mein Rehne Do), Khushaal Khan (Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri), Nadia Jamil (Jo Bichar Gaye), Omair Rana (Pinjra) and Samina Ahmed (Ms. Marvel). The show is being shot in Italy, the U.K. and Pakistan. The official release date of the show is awaited.
Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed acted together in one of the most popular and loved Pakistani shows Zindagi Gulzar Hai. The couple have reunited one more time in an upcoming series Barzakh. Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan have acted in the daily soap Humsafar. They have also featured in The Legend of Maula Jatt, which is touted to be the highest-grossing Pakistani film of all time.
Fawad Khan has also acted in a couple of Hindi movies. They are Khoobsurat, Kapoor & Sons. The actor played a cameo in Karan Johar's directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Mahira Khan played the leading lady opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rahul Dholakia's Raees.
