The Tourist co-star Angelina Jolie is also nominated for her role in the movie, receiving a nod in the Best Actress (Musical or Comedy) category. Jolie was pleasantly surprised by the news because she's never been acknowledged in a comedy category before, reported Contactmusic.
"You work hard at something and you do a film that you love and you never know how it will be responded to, and it's been nice that audiences have enjoyed it and seen it, but to be acknowledged in that way is obviously an honour and very, very nice. And we were laughing, because it's the first time I've been in the comedic category, so it's new for me," she said.
The 68th annual Golden Globe Awards, hosted by British comic Ricky Gervais, will take place on January 16 in Los Angeles.
