Bollywood star Mouni Roy is adding another feather to her cap. The Brahmāstra actress is in France making her debut at the prestigious Cannes film festival. Mouni is representing the eyewear brand Lenskart at the 76th edition of the film festival. Ahead of her big red carpet moment, Mouni has been treating fans to several gorgeous images of herself dressed in gowns befitting the French Riviera. In one of her first updates from Cannes, the actress is dressed in a yellow one-shoulder ensemble by Atelier Zuhra. She paired it with sunglasses by Lenskart and jewellery by Swarovski. In the caption, she wrote, “Bonjour Cannes,” and tagged her team. She also added a geotag for Cannes.

Mouni Roy's husband Suraj Nambiar dropped a heart emoji. Mouni's BFF Disha Patani gushed, “Omg soo beautiful.” Aashka Goradia Goble said, “Gorgeous.”

Mouni Roy followed this up with two posts of herself in a black gown. For the first post, she simply wrote in the caption, “Noir.”

In response, Disha Patani once again commented, “So beautiful [heart emojis].” Jannat Zubair said, “Stunning [heart-eye emojis].” Sonal Chauhan too said, “Stunning.” Aamir Ali dropped a heart emoji.

Tagging Lenskart in the second post, Mouni Roy wrote, “All black, err'ything.”

Ahead of her debut at Cannes, Mouni Roy shared a statement saying, “I am exhilarated to announce my debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Representing Lenskart at Cannes and being a part of this iconic celebration of creativity is my greatest honour. I am grateful for this incredible opportunity and cannot wait to showcase my unique style and passion for cinema on this global platform.”

On the work front, Mouni Roy was last seen in the role of the antagonist in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva.  The film was headlined by Ranbir Kapoor along with Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan, among others.
