Bollywood hunk and passionate biker John Abraham, who is the brand ambassador for Yamaha motors, unveiled a girls scooty, a maiden venture by the company.
"I have been a big fan of Yamaha for the past 7 years. My association with the brand is growing with each passing day. In my last film, Desi Boyz, the director had asked me to ride some other bike and I denied and rode my very own Yamaha V-Max. My first bike was an Yamaha RD 315 and it all started from there," said John while unveiling the first 'she' Yamaha in pink.
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is the brand ambassador to represent the Nissan brand in India, also stopped by for a visit to the company pavilion at the Expo.
Actress Katrina Kaif launched the latest Audi baby Q3 and said that after this she is officially part of the Audi family.
"I am officially part of the Audi family now. As an actor, we have to travel a lot and so cars are an extended part of us. The choice of car reflects our personality," Katrina said.
Director-actor Farhan Akhtar, who starred in a road movie directed by sister Zoya Akhtar, said he loves to go on long road trips in real life as well.
"I go on road trips very often. I tag along my friends annd family and just hit the road. My last road trip was with my family in Europe," Farhan said at Mercedes-Benz pavilion.
Cricketor Irfan Pathan and writer Chetan Bhagat were also part of the various launches and unveiling on the first day of the Auto Expo, which will run till January 11.
