Salman Khan invited Sumbul Touqeer's father to the second Shukravaar Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 16. The actress' dad slammed Shalin Bhanot and Tina Dutt for spoiling his daughter's image just for winning the reality show. For those who have not seen the last few episodes, we will give you a quick recap. Shalin Bhanot and Sumbul Touqeer's equation inside the house has changed and they appear to have grown closer. However, a couple of times, the actor has been spotted talking ill about Sumbul with Tina Dutta. Earlier this week, Shalin was trending on Twitter, where users claimed that he has been using Sumbul to his own advantage.
Now, in a promo clip of the Shukravaar Ka Vaar episode, Sumbul Touqeer's father is seen lashing out at Shalin Bhanot. Her father says, “Sumbul, jitne pure-hearted tum ho na, usay main daar gaya hoon. Dekh lo duniya kaisi hai beta (It frightens me to see how pure-hearted you are. You should realise how people around you really are).” He then turns towards Shalin and says, “Shalin, woh itne pure heart ke saath apko mili, par tumne kya kiya uske saath, tumne uska tamasha bana diya. Mujhe umeed bhi nahi tha aapse Shalin ki aap iss tarah ki harkat karoge (Sumbul welcomed you with such a pure heart but you spoiled her image. I never expected you to behave like this, Shalin).”
Sumbul Touqeer's dad also asks her to stay away from people who aren't loyal to her inside the house. “Sumbul, tum dekh nahi rahe ho kis tarah tumhara use kiya ja raha hai. Yeh dekh ke mujhe bohot hurt ho raha hai (Sumbul, it breaks my heart to see how these people are using you for their own benefits),” he adds.
