A recent video of Kareena Kapoor from outside her gym went viral on social media and sparked rumours that the Bollywood diva was expecting her third child.
Kareena and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, have recently returned to Mumbai after enjoying a beach holiday with their children. Soon after their return, a short clip of Kareena leaving after a workout session started spreading on social media.
She was seen in her athleisure, walking towards the car with members of her team. At one point, a team member used an umbrella to shield her from photographers. Some social media users felt that Kareena had a small baby bump. This quickly led to speculations that she and Saif are expecting their third child.
Soon after rumours spread, a source close to Kareena Kapoor told Hindustan Times that she “is not pregnant. This is not true.”
In an earlier interview, Kareena Kapoor had spoken about her family plans and made it clear that she did not want to have more children.
In a conversation with Vogue India, the actress said, “Saif has had a child every decade, in his twenties, thirties, forties and now in his fifties. I've told him, in your sixties, that's not happening. I think only a man as broad-minded as Saif could be a father of four children at very different stages.
“He gives his time to them all. And now, with Jeh, we are trying to balance it out. We've made a pact that when he's shooting for a film, I will try not to work on one at the same time [and vice versa].”
Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are parents to two sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. Saif also has two older children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, from his previous marriage with actress Amrita Singh.
