Akshay goes retro to promote Action Replayy

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is leaving no stone unturned for Action Replayy.Theactor is going retro in real life to to promote the upcomingmega budget film.

Akshay is going to don only retro clothes fromtomorrow onwards and wherever he goes and what ever he does itwould be in retro style.

He will make public appearances, attends parties andeven plans to take out wife Twinkle for dinner, all in retroattire.

The 44-year-old actor has asked designer Shabina Khanto design a full fledged wardrobe of retro clothes, which hecan wear over the next few weeks.

"Having Akshay Kumar in a film is always an asset forany director. Akshay is so passionate about every film he doesthat he himself keeps coming up with ideas to promote thefilm. Sometimes we have to remind him we have a marketing teamto do this exact job.

"However, Akshay being Akshay came up with another gemof an idea. In fact, he was so excited that he called me inthe middle of the night to inform me that from now on, to theday Action Replayy releases, he will only be wearing retroclothes," director Vipul Shah said.

The film starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan oppositeAkshay is slated to hit theatres this Diwali.
