The 'value education' has been included in the curriculum form this academic session in the government schools in Goa.
"From the current academic year (June 2018-19), the government started teaching Value Education to children in all schools. However, the Chief Minister did not elaborate on the subject matter of the value education.
He also informed that starting from this academic year the state government has started distributing sanitary pads to girls in schools and colleges to promote awareness about personal hygiene. The sanitary pads are being distributed free of cost.
